While details are still being finalized, we are pleased to announce the following speakers and topics. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Michael D. Lacopo will present, “The German Immigrant Experience in the 18th Century.” Dr. Lacopo is a recognized expert in research involving Mennonite and Pennsylvania German families. He is proficient in reading German script. Nathan Pease, Director of Library Services at LancasterHistory.org, will describe the features of their new search engine. Kristin Wenger, professional genealogist, and educator of Roots & Wings Research will reveal tips on “Finding Our Female Ancestors: Research Strategies to Discover More about Women in Family History”.
